Why, why???  I think I may have destroyed my chance to have sex in the foreseeable future with one tiny, little, no subtext "we."  While talking on the phone to my ex-boyfriend/convenient sex buddy trying to organize a friend's going away party I uttered the forbidden phrase.  We.  Such a small word, but so threatening to a wary exbf's psyche.

No, exbf, I am not still in love with you.  No, exbf, I don't see us as a couple.  No, exbf, I do not want to get back together (not even if you pulled out my eyelashes one by one leaving me in pain and lashless).  No, exbf, I am not psycho and won't haunt you all of your days with desperate e-mails and IM's.

I said "we" beacuse two people are involved are involved in organizing this event, and news flash, genius; when referring to the plural of "you" as the other person involved, the correct word is "WE!"

We.  So innocent, such a small word - but I've never heard a boy get off the phone so fast.  I am not in love with you, exbf; I just want you to get naked and pleasure me occasionally.  Is that so much to ask?  I promise never to say the dreaded "w" word again.
